Description

Hampton House is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of ashlar, with a slate roof hidden behind a parapet detailed with a projecting cornice. The gables are coped and rise to stacks. The house has two storeys, a basement, and modern attic dormers. It is arranged as three bays. The windows are glazing bar sash windows, with two on the left side now blocked. The central entrance has a panelled door under an overlight featuring a lantern, and is flanked by Doric columns set in a recessed surround.
