Description

Fern Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with later additions. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a slate mansard roof with coped raised verges and single pitch roofs on the wings. The building has two storeys and attics with hipped dormers. The main block has two windows and a central door, while the wings each have a single tripartite window. The windows in the central block are three-light casements with moulded stone mullions. The central door is modern and is accompanied by a gabled porch.
