Description
Conifer Cottage and Clovelly are a pair of houses built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed of rubble, with Conifer Cottage being painted. The roofs are a combination of slate and double Roman tiles, featuring coped raised verges. The buildings are two storeys high with attics that have modern dormers. Each house has two bays. Clovelly has a three-light casement window with a stone mullion, while Conifer Cottage features modern casements. The entrances are paired, with Clovelly having a six-panel door and Conifer Cottage having a modern door, both sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets.
