Description
Batheaston Vicarage is a house that dates from the mid-18th century and was altered and extended around 1813. It is built of coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone slate mansard roof featuring coped raised verges and ashlar stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with three hipped dormers. It consists of three bays and has glazing bar sash windows, with the outer windows grouped in pairs separated by a central stone mullion. To the left, there is a large projecting single-storey bow window with 15-pane sash windows, as well as a single-storey extension that also features 15-pane sashes. The central entrance has a modern door, and there is a plat band above the first floor.
