Description

This is a barn located to the east of the parish church, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone quoins and dressings, topped with a double Roman tiled roof featuring coped raised verges. The barn has a traditional layout, including a gabled projecting porch on the north side. The south entry is now blocked, while the north entry features a semi-circular headed cart entry with a plain surround and a keystone, along with a small circular owl entry in the gable. On either side of the porch, there are two plain loop vents beneath a keyed bullseye window in a square surround with sunken spandrels, and similar windows can be found in the gable ends. Inside, the barn has a tie-beam roof consisting of eight bays.
