Description
The monument to the Simbs-Cooper family is a chest tomb located in the churchyard to the north of the parish church in Combe Hay. The earliest date inscribed on the tomb is from 1710, commemorating the Simbs and Cooper families. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features inscribed shield panels along with panelled pilasters. The tomb has a moulded plinth and cornice, as well as a plain frieze.
