Description
Rowan House and Rose Lawn are a pair of houses built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from ashlar stone and feature a slate roof behind a parapet with a moulded cornice. The buildings rise to three storeys and consist of four bays, with the outer two bays slightly advanced. The windows are glazing bar sash windows, and there are plat bands below the first and second floors. A cast iron verandah spans the ground floor, and each house has a six-panel door set back in a two-storey entrance wing on either side.
