At left hand end low retaining wall has been broken back, rising to approx half metre, and running approx 10 metres to return of seven stone steps on coursed risers. Break where pathway crosses at gateway, then stone flag pavement continues to entrance of the Church Room, in ramp with a stone curb, returning in three steps to the left, and rising one step to entrance landing, all with simple C20 iron handrail. To right of steps and path boundary wall with piers and gate opening. Wall in coursed and squared limestone, with steep weathered coping, swept up to central pair of square piers with flared cappings, and formerly with gates.
