Description

Claysend Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a 20th-century tiled roof with coped raised verges and ashlar stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with a steep gable on the right side. There are three windows on the main facade and two in the left wing, featuring three- and two-light casements set in ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds, all under dripmoulds. A 20th-century door is located in the centre of the right part of the building, which is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch.
