Description

The barn, stable, shelter shed, and wagon shed associated with Church Farmhouse date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The shelter shed is constructed of rubble with ashlar piers and features a double Roman tiled roof. The barn is built from ashlar and rubble, topped with a Cotswold stone slate roof, and includes opposed gabled porches and narrow slit windows, arranged in five bays. To the right of the barn is the stable, which has a hayloft above. This stable also uses ashlar and rubble, has a Cotswold stone slate roof, and features a two-plank door on the ground floor, with steps at the left end leading up to the loft. A large covered way with a Cotswold slate roof connects the barn and stable. The wagon shed, located 10 meters to the southeast of the barn, is made of rubble and also has a Cotswold stone slate roof.
