Description

Durrington or Salvington Mill, originally known as Durrington Mill, is located on Furze Road in High Salvington. Although the mill is situated in High Salvington, it was built before the area was established. The mill features a post type design with a round house that has been modernized and fitted with windows. There is a date of 1700 inscribed above the door, and the timbers are tarred. The mill has three sweeps, with one missing, and the machinery is in working order.
