Description
Costers Mill is a building combining a mill and millhouse, located on Selham Road in West Lavington. The mill itself dates to 1835, though it occupies a site with earlier history. It is constructed from wealden sandstone rubble with red brick dressings, topped with a tiled roof. The mill is three storeys high and the mill wheel is now missing. Adjoining the mill to the southwest is a probable 18th-century house. This house is built of stone, now painted, and has a tiled roof. It features intact glazing bars, two storeys, and an attic with two dormers, containing two windows.
