Description

Goar Cottages, located on Findon Road, are a symmetrical pair of cottages dating from probably the late 18th century. They stand at an acute corner with Bost Hill and are two storeys high. The cottages are constructed of flint, featuring several single-course bands of brick and brick quoining around the openings, corners, and down the center. There are two widely spaced windows with glazing bars and cambered heads. The doors are paired at the center and also have cambered heads. The cottages have a steep, tiled roof, with a rear extension that is situated under the slope of the roof.
