Description
East Lodge, originally part of Findon Place, was separated from it by the main London-Worthing Road. This building dates from the early to mid-19th century and features a cross-plan design with two storeys and two windows. The exterior is faced with flints, accented by window surrounds and quoins made of Roman cement, and it has a tiled roof with gables on each wing. The first floor has casement windows with two lights, while the ground floor features four-light windows with dripstones above and a small bay window with three lights. There is a gabled porch on the north wing, which has been converted into a bay window and includes scalloped bargeboards. A chimney breast is present on the south wall.
