Description

The Statue of Pan, located 15 metres to the east of Old Place, is a Grade II listed statue from the late 19th century. It features an octagonal stone plinth that supports a cylindrical column, upon which stands a bronze statue of Pan, depicted with a goatskin draped over his shoulder. This statue is part of a series of garden features at Old Place, introduced by the designer C. E. Kempe.
