Description

The Gatehouse to Barton St Mary, built in 1906 and designed by Edwin Lutyens, is a two-storey structure with attics. The ground floor is constructed of painted brick, while the first floor features tile hanging. It has a hipped tiled roof with pentices on the sides and four brick chimney stacks. A hipped dormer is present, along with two windows with leaded lights on the first floor and six windows on the ground floor. The gatehouse includes a central carriage archway and has an extension on the right side, which is also made of painted brick and has a tiled roof.
