Description

The water tower, built in 1914 by W Vaux-Graham, Engineer to the Water Board, is a Grade II listed structure. It is constructed of sandstone in the Perpendicular style and stands six storeys tall. The tower has a square shape with angle turrets and a stair turret. It features a crenellated parapet and on each side of the upper floor, there is a five-mullioned and transomed casement window. Additionally, the tower has slit windows and an arched doorcase.
