Description

This is a two-storey timber-framed building, originally a single structure, now divided into two separate properties at numbers 61 and 63 High Street. The building dates to the 17th century. Number 61 retains exposed timber framing with plaster infill. It features a restored oriel window on the first floor, and a simple hood over the doorway. Number 63 has a stucco-fronted façade with a decorative band above the ground floor. It has two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in plain reveals, and a blank recess to match. A paired modillion eaves soffit and bedmould are present. The building is roofed with slate, and includes a dormer window over number 61.
