Description

Grayfriars is a building dating from around 1830, possibly serving as a toll-house or lodge. It is finished in stucco and has a slate roof. The structure features a central two-storey section with one window, topped by a gable that has kneelers, coping, and a pendant. On each side of the central portion, there are single-storey sections with a pentice that has coping and kneelers facing the street. The building includes pointed casement windows and a doorway with a pointed tympanum located in the north wall.
