Description

The Cottage is an 18th-century red brick building with grey headers, originally listed as stables to the north of Springfield Park. It has a Horsham slab roof. The building has seven windows facing north, each with a segmental head above. Most of the original glazing bars remain in the sash windows. The ground floor features two bays of blind arcading. To the east, there are three windows with some intact glazing bars. The ground floor of this elevation also has arcading, with a stone string course defining the level. The Cottage, along with the stables to the south and the estate wall, form a cohesive group within the Springfield Park estate.
