Description

The stables to the south of Springfield Park, dating from the 18th century, are now connected to the house by a curved single-storey building. They are constructed of red brick with grey headers and stand two storeys high. The south elevation features six windows, while the east side has three. The building has a tiled roof and a parapet with stone capping on the east side. There are two bays of blind arcading on the ground floor, accompanied by a stone string-course to the east. Most of the windows are sash style with intact glazing bars. The stables, along with Springfield Park, The Cottage, and the estate wall, form a cohesive group.
