Description

Medmerry Windmill is a good example of a tower mill, dating from around 1829, and is in excellent condition following repairs in the 1960s. It is currently used as a shop. The windmill is constructed of red brick and features a circular cap made of metal sheets topped with a finial. It has round-headed windows. The sweeps are still present but do not have shutters, and the fan-tail is missing.
