Description

This is an 18th-century house located behind numbers 2 and 3 North Pallant, with a significantly higher frontage than its neighbours. It has a hipped tiled roof and three storeys with a three-window front. A cornice with modillions sits below the eaves, and a string course runs above the first and ground floors. The house is built of painted brick, with sash windows set in flat arches. The first and second-floor windows have flush boxes, while those on the ground floor are set in reveals. The main entrance features a six-panel moulded door, with a rectangular fanlight above, recessed behind a doorcase consisting of Doric pilasters and an entablature. Numbers 1 to 7 (consecutive) and number 9 form a group.
