Description

West Lodge, dated 1848, is a small Italianate T-shaped building located at Shopwyke House on Coach Road in Oving. The building is finished in stucco and features a slate roof. It has long and short quoins and casement windows consisting of two round-headed lights set in a round-headed arch. The east-west wing is two storeys high with one window and has sprocket eaves, along with gable ends on the east and west sides. There is a gabled porch on the north front, while the south wing is a single storey with one window.
