Description

The South East Gateway to the Goodwood Estate, located next to Park Lane, dates from the early 19th century. It features a round-headed carriage archway made of flints set in galletting, topped with a cove and tiled coping. There are circular holes in the spandrels of the archway. These gates do not provide access to Goodwood Park but lead to a section of the estate used for agriculture, including the Home Farm. The road that the gates lead to does not have a name.
