Description

Sparr Farmhouse is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed building. It has plaster infilling between the timbers. The first floor is clad in tiles, and it overhangs on brackets with a bellcast profile. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs, although part of it has been replaced with tiles. Casement windows are present, and a two-tiered oriel window with three lights in each tier projects on a bracket on the ground floor. The farmhouse has two storeys and three windows. A modern wing was added to the rear in 1928.
