Description

Marlpost Farmhouse is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed building. It was originally constructed with plaster infilling, but was later refronted with weather-boarding on the ground floor and tile-hanging above, featuring a slight bellcast. The roof is covered in Horsham slabs. The windows are casement type. A gabled porch is present. A large, stepped chimney breast, constructed of brick and stone rubble, is located at the south end of the farmhouse. The building is two storeys high and has three windows.
