Description
Dounhurst Farmhouse is a farmhouse originally known as Dunhurst Farm. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber-framed structure with red brick infilling that has been restored and enlarged. The building was probably originally L-shaped. The north front retains its original portion, which has a Horsham slab roof and a central gable with a projection below on the first floor. There is a modern portion extending beyond this. The south wing has a red brick facade on the ground floor and is tile-hung above. A later wing projects at right angles in the center, and the roof is mostly tiled. The windows are casement style.
