Description

Fountains Farmhouse is a T-shaped farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and features herring-bone red brick infilling, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in painted brick. The south end of the front has a gable, and beyond this gable is a projecting cros-stepped chimney breast, also in painted brick. The farmhouse has a tiled roof and casement windows, and it stands two storeys high with four windows. The first floor at the back is tile-hung.
