Description
Leggatt Hill Farmhouse is a T-shaped house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed structure with exposed timbering on the ground floor of the west wing, while the upper part is covered with tile-hanging and has a slight bellcast. The rest of the building is refaced with stone rubble and has a tiled roof. The farmhouse has casement windows, some of which include stone mullions and brick dripmoulds. Notably, there is a crow-stepped stone chimney breast on the north wall, topped with an exceptionally high brick stack that has pilasters on all faces. The building is two storeys tall and has three windows in each wing.
