Description

No. 9 Orchard Street is an early 19th-century building featuring two parallel ranges, with the back range being lower than the front. It has a hipped slate roof and brick stacks at both ends of the front range. The exterior is made of flint, accented with red brick quoins, lacing courses, and dressings. The building stands two storeys high and has two sash windows with flush boxes, retaining their glazing bars. The lower windows have slightly curved headings. The entrance includes a six-panel moulded door set in reveals, with a doorway that has a moulded architrave and a cornice above.
