Description

The Yapton Evangelical Free Church and the attached school or hall were built in 1861. They are arranged in an L-shape and are both single-storey structures. The exterior is faced with flints and features stuccoed dressings and quoins. The roof is made of slate. The church has five narrow round-headed windows. The school or hall wing, located to the west, includes a gabled central projection with a larger two-light window.
