Description

No 24 High Street is a mid-19th century building constructed of red brick with Pulborough stone dressings and a plinth. It features a pitched tile roof and stands three storeys tall. The building has a modillion eaves cornice made of bricks arranged diagonally. On the first and second floors, there are two ranges of segment-headed double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes one door and a canted bay shopfront that also has glazing bars and a fascia board. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 18 to 34 (even), along with the Castle Walls and Town Gates.
