Description

This is a farm building that likely served as a dovecote, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed cobblestone with red brick quoins and dressings. The roof is pyramidally-hipped, made of Horsham slabs, and features a central ventilation cupola-hood that has a square plan, a tinted hipped lead-clad roof, and a pinnacle. There are doorways on the east and north sides, with the northern doorway positioned 2.5 feet above ground level. Both doorways have boarded and ribbed doors.
