Description

This is a cottage row, originally built in the early 18th century and extended in the later 18th century. It now functions as a pair of cottages. The construction is primarily flint, with some cobblestone on the right-hand side, and features red brick dressings and quoins. The roof is tiled, hipped to the left, with brick stacks at each end. There are three irregularly placed semi-dormers, each with a sloping flat roof. The building is one and a half storeys high, with three windows of irregular size, and a further small window higher up to the left of centre. The windows are a mix of fixed and casement styles, with sliding casements on the ground floor to the left and in all the dormers. There are entrances to the left (at No. 4), in the centre, and to the right (both at No. 5). A weather-boarded section is present at the left-hand entrance, incorporating a full-width strip window under the eaves.
