Description
Adur Lodge is a house built in the early to mid-18th century, with the east side plastered in the early 19th century. It features cobblestone construction with red brick dressings and a steep slate roof that has two flat-headed dormers. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a regular three-window front with glazing bar sashes. The central entrance is arched and includes a fanlight above it. There is a cast-iron verandah on the ground floor, decorated with anthemion motifs and topped with a tented roof. To the southwest, there is a cobbled wall that is between 12 to 15 feet high and approximately 30 yards long, likely dating from the 19th century, which encloses the garden.
