Description
Kingswood Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with sandstone rubble and brick infill, with some parts galleted. The roof is half-hipped and has plain tiles, along with a catslide outshot at the rear. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of four framed bays, showcasing diamond-pane, leaded casement windows. Some of these windows are in old surrounds with reinstated diamond mullions. There are three windows on the first floor, with the outer ones being three-light, and three windows on the ground floor. To the left of the center, there is a pair of casement doors. The cottage has two stacks on the ridge, one left of center, and a 20th-century stack on the front right. The main entrance is now located at the rear in the outshot, which includes a gabled stair turret to the right.
