Description
Snails Lynch Farmhouse is a 2-storey timber-framed building, likely dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. The southeast front features square panels of timber-framing with painted brick infilling above, while the lower section is made of painted brick and plaster. The building has an old tiled gabled roof with a central brick chimney stack. It includes casement windows with small panes, with two on the upper floor and three on the lower floor. The left-hand gable end is tile-hung above and has square panels of timber-framing below, with the ground floor splayed out. There is one window on the ground floor and a small modern oriel window above it. Adjoining the left gable end is a one-storey and attic cross wing, which has one bay and features two small casement windows, including one in a gabled dormer.
