Description
The Royal Oak Public House is a 17th-century building that has been altered and stands two storeys high. It features a pebble dash exterior on a rendered projecting plinth and has an old tile roof that is half-hipped to the left. On the first floor, there are four 2-light casement windows and one sash window. The ground floor includes one double sash window on the left, one half-glazed door, one 2-light casement window, and a central rectangular bay with a 3-light casement window, alongside another half-glazed door and a 3-light casement window on the right. The doors are topped with small pent hoods supported by cut brackets. The north gable is timber-framed, finished with colourwash and brick infillings. The Royal Oak Public House, along with Nos 76 to 98 (even) and Nos 102 and 104, forms a group.
