Description

The archway to Wonersh Court is an 18th-century gateway located on the south side of The Street in Wonersh. It is constructed of red and blue brick, featuring stone bases on the jambs and at the arch springing. The archway stands approximately 20 feet high and has a two-step arched entrance, which is supported by block rusticated jambs and is topped with a stone hood mould. This structure formerly served as an entrance from the village street into the drive leading to Wonersh Yard.
