Description

The Old Town Well is a structure likely dating from the 17th century. It is accessed by steps that lead down between buttressed rubble retaining walls, creating a long open-roofed passage. At the far end of this passage, on the left side, is the well itself, which is located behind an arched underground opening that features an iron grille.
