Description

Mulberry House is a house dating to approximately 1800, with a later 19th-century extension to the rear. The house is constructed of brick, originally rendered and colour-washed, but with much of that coating now worn away. It has a hipped concrete tiled roof, partly hidden by parapets. The building is arranged in a parallel range plan, and is two storeys high, with rebuilt 20th-century stacks located to the right and rear left. A moulded plinth sits beneath a regular facade. The first floor has three 12-pane, cambered-head, sash windows, with two similar windows below. A central six-panel door is set within an architrave surround, topped by a shallow pediment and a traceried fanlight. The left-hand return front features a first-floor angle bay with an oriel window supported by brackets. The extension to the right is set back and has a hipped roof with brick dentilled eaves.
