Description

Home Farm House is an early 18th-century house with later additions. The front is whitewashed roughcast, while the return walls and rear are constructed of sandstone rubble and colourwashed brick. It has a plain tiled, half-hipped roof with an oversailing hip on the left side. The house is two storeys high, with a plat band above the ground floor. The first floor has five casement windows, and the ground floor has four larger, three- and four-light casement windows, all under cambered relieving arches. A panelled door is positioned centrally, sheltered by a flat hood. There are end stacks; one to the right with a corbelled top, and another to the left. A hipped roof wing extends at right angles to the rear, and a further hipped roof is located to the rear left.
