Description
The Pump House is a former barn and granary that has been converted into a house. It dates back to the 17th century and was extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features a timber frame that is underbuilt in sandstone and brick, with exposed brick infill above and weatherboard cladding on the gable. It has a plain tiled roof and stands two storeys tall, showcasing curved end bracing. The old entrance front is positioned at right angles to the street, featuring two windows on the first floor, one window on the ground floor to the left, and a boarded door in the centre.
On the left side, which is the rear or garden side, there is an offset stack and weatherboard cladding with a gabled dormer. It also has half-glazed doors. The right side features a pentice roof extension with a weatherboarded porch and a part-glazed front door.
Inside, the framing is visible, primarily on the ceilings, and the former brick infilled exterior walls have been preserved.
