Description

This is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed building, originally a range of two storeys and an attic, with four bays and an irregular layout. The building has a high-pitched tiled roof with two returned gable ends of differing sizes, each containing an attic window. The first floor and above are banded with plain and fishscale tiles, and some timber framing is visible, with brick infill below. A projection dating to around 1900 extends from the left side, featuring an open wood loggia and a square stone bay with a pent-tiled roof. To the right are steps leading to a plain boarded door, sheltered by a pent hood of similar date. A narrow, set-back bay is on the left. Two long ranges extend to the rear.
