Description
Moat House is a building dating from around 1600, constructed of brick with a tiled roof. It features two parallel ranges, both gabled at one end, and stands two storeys high with seven bays. The original door is located in the third bay and is topped with a simple hood supported by brackets. The ground floor windows are cross-windows with leaded lights set within segment-headed openings. There is a string course at the first-floor level and a brick eaves cornice. The roof includes three dormer windows. At the back, on the right side, there is a long gallery-like addition from the late 17th century, which has three segment-headed dormer windows in the roof.
