Description
The Red House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features incised, colourwashed render cladding and a hipped plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a regular facade, with a moulded brick eaves cornice and end stacks. On the first floor, there are three 12-pane glazing bar sash windows, and one similar window on the ground floor to the right. To the left on the ground floor, there is a hipped 19th-century angle bay window. The central entrance has a six-panel door beneath a traceried fanlight, all framed by a dentilled open pediment supported by panelled Doric pilasters and dosserets.
