Description
Springfield Farm House is a house that has been extended, dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with 19th and 20th-century extensions to the left. It is timber framed with whitewashed brick infill below and part rendered infill above, topped with plain tiled roofs that step down to the left. The house has two storeys and features a rebuilt stack to the right. The main range consists of three framed bays with arched bracing on the first floor. There are four 20th-century casement windows on the first floor and six casements below. To the left, there is a window range set back and a pentice extension at the left end. A ribbed and arched panel door is located to the left of centre, sheltered by a shallow pitched brick porch.
