Description
Nos 16 to 22 (even) and No 22A on Petworth Road is a timber-framed building likely dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century front. The upper part is tile hung, while the lower part is brick. The structure has two storeys and features a total of six windows with leaded casements. The gables at both ends are returned, with the western gable containing an attic window. The rear wall is partly constructed from coursed rubble with red brick dressings. On the right side, the roof has been raised to create a three-storey height, and the wall has been rebuilt in modern red brick with modern windows. This building is included partly for its group value.
