Description

25-27 and 29 George Street is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century and has been altered over time. It is two storeys high and features a four-window range with flush frame sash windows that have glazing bars. The left side, No 25, has one window and an overhanging first floor. No 27, located to the right, has two windows, while No 29 includes a right wing with one window that was formerly part of an oversailing first floor, which has since been underbuilt. The entrance to No 27 is in the central portion, which also features a door that is unnumbered. The building has a tile roof and a modern attic window on the right side. The front is mainly plastered with panels, and the chimney stacks have been renewed. Nos 19 to 27 (odd) form a group.
